Come and visit: Glance skin

I decided to do a “Come and visit” – blog at least once a week – it is always funny to visit various places and talk about them whether they are famous or not doesnt matter – we focus on fashion, right?

Todays “Come and visit” is Glance skin by fabulous Joakim Asbrink and I am sure many girls from the grid already own at least one skin from Glance simply because it so realistic, hig quality and makes you look fabulous – always! Glance skins are mostly based on celebrity alike skins but lately Joakim created some skins that has more characteristic like example Ling – an high end asian skin with 10 different make up options:

Together wih Ling she released shortly after Caroline – a skinline what is very feminine and soft spiced with a glimse of nordic look. Caroline comes in 10 different make ups:

Body of Ling and Caroline are very nicely detailed and they are both shaved and has not cleavage options. As you can see, Ling is nicely tanned – like sunkissed I would say and Caroline´s skin is pale.

Ling and Caroline has been released in December 2009 – so they are still quietly new. So, Come and visit Glance skin and grab demos to see yourself what I am talking about.

There are a lot of stuff already around the grid for Valentine whether they are clothes, gadges or accessories doesnt really matter because it is all about to remind you to love the one you love. Come and visit: Fab.Pony

Todays post is abt Fab.Pony – owner and creator: Tatianna Faulkes – she creates trendy women streetwear, clubwear and casual dresses in fun styles like zebra print, argyle, tiedye, draped etc. that are very cool, chic and fresh. Various T-shirts in various vintage, unicorn, splattered style are available in many fresh colors as well as funky pants, miniskirts and simply you will never miss anything.

She has just started making hair – yes, you heard it right H-A-I-R!! So far created 3 different styles but very promising and the bestseller is Mei she told me:

Every girls dream: Stiletto Moody Shoes

Every girls dream in SL is to own a pair of Moody shoes like we dream of Laboutin or Jimmy Choo shoes in RL. If you wonder what I am talking about – Moody shoes – what?? Never heard of Moody before, then you have a very good reason to take a look at these pictures.

Before you do so, there are some good things to know about Stiletto Moody Bare series: The bare feet part is adjustable for matching your skin via menu. There are pre-made versions ready for you to use from pale to dark black skintones and if they doesnt match your skin, you use the either the direct RGB input or use control freak that allows you to click the menu to make the skin brighter, darker, more red, more green, more blue or vice versa.

For the method of show color under cursor: bring up the advanced menu on your top SL tool bar using control+alt+D then select advanced…UI…show color under cursor. This will bring up a set of white numbers on the bottom right of your screen. Put your curson on your avatar leg, near the ankle where it will connect. Use the first 3 sets of 3 digits; for numbers under 3 digits, put one or more 0s in front to make a 3 digit number. A fatpack is always a moneysaver and a fatpack is always good to consider especially if you are into modelling and you need all colors available for mix and matching for shows, print work etc.

JCNY Jewelry & showcase model week 3

I am pretty sure that every woman in SL knows JCNY finest jewelry – if not, then I suggest you to teleport to JCNY flagshipstore in Farah Island and I am sure you will understand why it is so popular in SL and SL Fashion Industry. I entered because I love JCNY jewelries, its beauty and quality and always heard positive things about JD Hansen and her staff and I am happy to showcase JCNY jewelry for week 3 - 2010.

Visiting Mens Fashion Week and…..

I felt in love with CheerNo ceations - OMG!!! And yes women can wear mens wear – use your fantasy and do some cool mix and matching. CheeNo is owned and designed by brazilian CheerNo Destiny. He sells also modelling poses in his mainstore. And good to know about booN hair: Their new releases are at 50 L untill 15th January - so hurry up!!!

3 different mixings:

CheerNo mix 1: This is really a brave set of combination – if you dare then just do eet!!! CheerNo mix 2: I am wearing Romeo Sweater in white with long baggy collar in matching color from CheerNo and together with it I wear a collar that belongs to another set from CheerNo called Kizzing. Belt is old leather belt from Maitreya. Pants is part of Deuil. George set from CheerNo. Shoes are Espirit-Xtd/noir from Maitreya Gold. Hair I am wearing is PYO902 hair/black from booN.

CheerNo mix 3: In this funny funky combination of grazy and boheme – I wear: For hair I picked this extraordinaire WAW635/blonde again from booN. For sweater I wear the same Romeo in White (it is always nice to be able to mix same stuff with others again and again) together with the set called Deuil George which contains the vest, skirt (2 option – sculpt and flexi/sculpt), pants and collar – all from CheerNo. Shoes: L: Superstar/yellow&black from Soreal and R: Emma/black from G Field. The bad is orginally from Bubbles Clawtooth and I manipulated it with a logo from where I took a picture of in CheerNo Mainstore and edited in PS.

The show sunday, presented by Avenue Models, was fabulous and the audience great, for those who missed or for thousands of reasons couldnt make the show – no worry – I show you 3 outfit I have been wearing on Modern Gypsy catwalk:

Fashion Monster serie:

“Duesse” – can be worn in 2 different ways, 1 with red shirt and sculpted laces that are transparent or just plain bare shoulder – sexy!! Hair worn : Bang,bang/ink from !Lamb and skin is Modern Gypsy couture skin (fair) – white face, red lip from Modern Gypsy. Pumps are Saffron/black and red from Lelutka.

Modern Gypsy Winter affair serie:

Grand Mistress – is a chic high fashionable stribed dress decorated with belt and bow that matches the outfit. Hair worn: Zetta/black 2 from EXXESS Designs, shoes are Saffron pumps from LeLutka and skin is Modern Gypsy Couture skin (fair) - purple lip from Modern Gypsy.

Modern Gypsy Winter Affair serie:

Lovely Enchantress is a chic strong red dress that sparkles your look into a luxurious feeling. Comes with belt and shoulderpuff and a must have for cocktail parties. Thank you all for contributing to make my closure sale to a big success and I didnt expect so many people coming and shopping at :: Aleida::. Was amazing and I was about to think : Why the heck do I close – but had to remind myself: I really dont have time at that moment to care for this kind of business. I have been asking if I like to open again and I say: Never say never . Allthough my stuff arent gone forever because they are available in Xstreet and by searching for Aleida Rhode, you will find my collection and I will add more stuff when I have time to clean the inventory.

I love fashion and I could not leave SL fashion like that so instead of leaving totally, I will spend some time to blog about SL fashion community news, product reviews or products that needs to be mentioned or paying attention to, show announcements, events and other stuff related to SL fashion only – when my time allows.

Aimesi skins by Mea Carnell who just has released 2 new skin lines : Crystal and Rabea which both comes in 2 different skintones : Caramel and Spice – both available in 5 (Caramel skins) and 4 (Spice skins) different make ups. After I have tried them all – must say that they really are high quality skin and at a very reasonable price. We all have our personal tastes and my favorite here is Crystal in caramel tone – she has a really cute and wellperformed lips, the face and body shades are awesome and it is also like that with Rabea skin line. Get yourself a taxi to Aimesi Skins and try out demos to agree with me that they are really good skins.
